Psalm 8:4

Psalm 8:4Today’s Scipture Picture comes from a Psalm David wrote while reflecting on the glory of God’s creation and man’s place in it. Here’s the verse in context:

When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers,
The moon and the stars, which You have ordained,
What is man that You are mindful of him,
And the son of man that You visit him?
For You have made him a little lower than the angels,
And You have crowned him with glory and honor.

(Psalm 8:3-5)

The backdrop for this Scripture Picture is the beautiful Carina Nebula, which is nestled in the Carina constellation and spans the mind-boggling distance of 300 light-years.
