There are many verses that rang out me but as I’ve been thinking on Gods up coming holy days verse :21 touch me “He Who follows righteousness and mercy finds life, righteousness and honor” What is interesting to me? It doesn’t say you’ll find it right now, but you will find it.
Proverbs 21:19 says a tale bearer
reveals secrets about others.
“ Did you know that Mr. X used to …”or “I can’t believe she once…”
May sound harmless, but we need to think again.
Proverbs 21:2 shows us that we think the way that we choose to go is right. Everyone makes that call. However, we may think we have examined the path we are on, but God will also examine us. How well do we examine ourselves with the standard God uses to examine us?
Proverbs 21:2 2 Every way of a man is right in his own eyes,
But the LORD weighs the hearts.
I pray daily that God will guide my steps, grant me godly discernment & wisdom for I know I can easily deceive myself for He says the heart is deceitful above all things and desperately wicked in Jeremiah 17:9
Proverbs has so much to say about how we treat the poor (verse 13 in this chapter—if we ignore them, we’ll be ignored). Makes me think I need to reevaluate how I approach that aspect of life—what can I be doing better?

I love verse 31! You can do what you can to prepare, but God’s will is what will be done.
