Verse 21 “for the ways of man are before the eyes of the LORD “. This speaks volumes to me. There isn’t anything going on that God does not know.

A good reminder for us men to love only our wives.

Proverbs 5:6 mentions a quality of the “immoral woman’s” ways. “Her ways are unstable; You do not know them.” The paths of wickedness usually are described as being crooked, twisted, corrupted, and unlevel. One example is the sorcerer in Acts 13:10 where Paul calls out the man for perverting God’s path. I am struck with how often people are able to made crooked or twist what is good. That is the path of the immoral woman. A path that leads not to everlasting life, but to the grave.

“Proverbs 5:21 21 For the ways of man are before the eyes of the LORD,
And He ponders all his paths”.

This chapter applies to women as well as a warning to not be the wonton seductress ruining a man and his family.

For the eyes of God are on women as well and He ponders the paths of all.

The celebration of what marriage is supposed to be in verses 15-19 makes me smile. The overall warning of the chapter is so important, but in the middle of it is a reminder that God isn’t trying to keep us from the enjoyable things—He’s helping us to PROTECT the enjoyable things.
