Proverbs 8:23-29 is neat because it shows us that wisdom is ancient. To me that is one of the interesting ways to consider why wisdom is more precious than gold and silver. It was established from the very beginning and it’s qualities are timeless and eternal.

There is so much in this proverb! I will be thinking all Sabbath about this one. I know I am to seek wisdom . I know God gives it to those who ask . When I think about how awesome our creator is and what He has done ,and what scripture says He will do , my mind can hardly comprehend it. I want to seek wisdom and knowledge . Here in these proverbs is good place to continue that search

It’s so humbling to think that we’re being invited to take hold of the very same wisdom God used in the shaping of the world. It’s not a lesser version of that wisdom—it’s the whole package. Understanding and acting on it is a lifetime process, but it’s still incredible.

“Proverbs 8:35 35 For whoever finds me finds life,
And obtains favor from the LORD;”

I pray daily to grow in godly wisdom so I can attain life, true life eternal and favor with God
