    “Of these things we cannot now speak in detail.” Oh, but I wish you would have!

    Verse 8: “…that the way into the Holiest of All was not yet made manifest while the first tabernacle was still standing.”

    God was looking so far into the future with the establishment of the tabernacle. A whole sacrificial system to point toward what Christ was ultimately coming to do, designed in a way that drives home the significance of gaining access to God’s throne. We get to go freely where once only one man could go once a year. What a privilege that is.

    Chapter 9

    …Christ was offered once to bear the sins of many. To those who eagerly wait for Him He will appear a second time, apart from sin, for salvation.

    This chapter contrasts the old with the new. The monumental purpose and plan of the Father and Son, all they both sacrificed for me and all mankind is mind blowing when I truly think about it deeply.
